To all baseball scorers I.T.
I would like to know if anyone has had any problems using Microsoft Vista (any version) with the statistics entry program? Some have said they feel the statistics software is not Vista compatible.
Please add any comments here, so we might sort out these issues.
Please give details relating to errors while running the software on Microsoft Windows Vista only.
Thanks,Janelle

Hi everyone, Just a followup. Janelle and i have spent considerable time, installing and testing the automated scoring program on Micosoft Vista Premium. Although a few problems were found, there are easy fixes that allow the software to run on Vista without problems, or error messages. We also noted that the software writers website (http://www.statcrew.com) states that the software is compatible with Vista. It is uncertain however, as to witch version of the software is said to be compatible. We us version 5.9.0 June 14 2007.
After further testing I have found a solution to the issue of full screen not being available in Vista while using the Automated Score Book. Please email me for a full explaination.

P.S. Not even the publisher of the software seems to know this answer.
To all scorers using the Automated Scorebook TASFTP program to upload their game files, it is important to note that the errors messages will occure if you do not have a game set up, including the line up cards. This should be done before ticking activate or autosend files to your web server. If you wish to setup a directory on your webserver in advance to send initfiles, setup web server directory first, ie, yourserver.com/games/41 then setup the TASFTP info (Directory you will be sending the game file to, similar to above) without activate clicked, then click send initfiles (These are generic files, such as hlogo.gif, vlogo.gif, field.gif ect. Please email me for further explanation.
